Pumpkin Spice Bread

1 3/4 cup flour
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 teasp. cinnamon
1 teasp. baking soda
1/2 teasp. nutmeg
1/2 teasp. salt
1/8 teasp. gr. cloves
1 egg, beaten
1/3 cup water
1 cup solid pack pumpkin
1/2 cup (1 stick) Margerine, melted

Preheat oven to 350*. Grease a 8'x 11' loaf pan or 9'x 
11' loaf pan or grease a muffin pan.

Sift dry ingredients together in large bowl. Mix wet 
ingredients in smaller bowl. Pour wet into dry and mix 
to moisten. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake at 350* 
for about 1 hour and 10 minutes or until done. Oven 
temps vary so try one hour first and if not done bake 5 
extra minutes at a time.

Makes 1 loaf or 12 muffins.

Options: May add 1 cup raisins or 1 cup walnuts or 1/2 
cup of each.

May be iced with cream cheese icing.
