I just got this from a friend, thought you dc-stuff gourmet's might have
some fun with it.

Okay here is the Coke Cake recipe that I kinda sorta yet don't recall
promising you a long time ago. I've never made it myself but my mom used
to.

From what I recall, it's really sweet, and I think she said once that
sometimes the weather effects it, if it's kinda runny then something
isn't right. So here goes:

       Coke Cake

2cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 sticks oleo
2 Tbls. cocoa
1/4 ts baking soda
1 ts vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 and 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
1 cup coke
1/4 ts salt

DO NOT USE MIXER:
Sift flour and sugar.
Bring oleo, coke, and cocoa to a boil.
Pour over flour and sugar.
Add milk, soda, egg, salt, and vanilla. Then add marshmallows.
Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.

Coke Cake Icing:

Heat 1/2 cup oleo, 2 TBLS cocoa, 6 TBSP coke to a boil.
Pour over 1 box powdered sugar.
Add 1 cup pecans(optional) and 1 ts vanilla.
Put on warm cake.Thats it...
