inquiring minds want to know...:

>maybe i'll try that, but expand a bit on buffalo wings for me please, i'm

ahhhh! ok. chicken wings coated with a sticky hot sauce served with blue
cheese dressing, celery and carrot sticks. usually served as a snack/
appetizer; generally accompanied by beer and sports.

chicken wings
1. deep fry
2. drain
2a. if desired, separate wings at the joints
3. toss in bowl to coat with sauce [1]
4. use blue cheese dressing [2] to eat with the wings (dip) and alternately
with veggie sticks

[1] recipe for buffalo wing sauce:

1 qt hot sauce--Durkee or Crystal is good
1 qt water
1/4 c. white vinegar
1/2 # blond roux (1/4 # butter + 1/4 # flour)
1/4 # butter

1. make roux (editors note: check glossary/hints for roux recipes)
2. place all liquid in a sauce pan and bring to a boil
3. whisk in roux. note: you can make the sauce thicker or thinner to taste
4. cook sauce until flour taste from roux disappears (approx. 20 min. at a
   simmer)
5. whisk in butter to finish

sauce can be used immediately, or stored in fridge

[2] blue cheese dressing:

1/2 # blue cheese
1/4 c. red vinegar
approximately 1c. of mayo

mix all well. you can add more or less mayo as desired.

eat while watching footy!
